Details: A first for our Club, but known to members, this site is situated only 100m from a long sandy beach (dog friendly), a 25 minute level stroll or short cycle ride from Barmouth and is within the Snowdonia National Park.

The site is well equipped with toilets, showers and laundry facilities, a handy shop, small children’s playground, book and DVD swap and a dog wash. Pitches are grass, with EHU. 

A seasonal café/takeaway is only 5 minutes’ walk from the site, and the Min y Mor Hotel, 15 mins stroll on the Marine Walk, serves good food and drink, and is very dog friendly. 

Barmouth itself is a traditional seaside town, with beautiful sandy beaches, a quayside, a wide range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants, and of course, seaside amusements. 

A bus service runs from the main road, 5 mins walk from the site.   There is also a railway station, with regular services north, south and inland.

Directions: From Coventry take A45 to A452 and join M6 North (jct 4). Exit M6 onto M54 (jct 10A) towards Telford/Wolverhampton/ Shrewsbury). M54 becomes A5 - continue on A5 around Shrewsbury.   At the roundabout signed Mid Wales /Welshpool exit left onto A458.  Continue on the A458 (follow it through Welshpool). At the roundabout just past the Mallwyd Service Station (L), take the third exit A470 to Dolgellau. In approximately 13mls at the roundabout take the f irst exit signed A496 to Abermaw/ Barmouth. In 8mls (Barmouth), turn left (A496) onto Jubilee Road. Turn right onto Beach Road (A496). Turn left onto High Street (A496) and continue for 1 mile. Site on the left - sharp and steep left turn.

Watch for STCCC signs.
